Carries passion has always been to do what is best to serve all children.  “My Atchison Child Care life has taught me that learning begins in utero and lasts a lifetime.  I feel my calling is to represent children and the families of Atchison. All children can and will learn in our district…. There are many ways learning takes place.  We must prepare our students for 21st-century learning.

Carrie would love to see more project-based learning happening around our buildings.  To explore key issues impacting education and would love to see maintenance issues in our buildings resolved

Carrie wants everyone to know that she always makes decisions or vote on what is best for the children in our district.  She is a servant leader and will never micromanage! It takes everyone working together to make USD 409 Successful

Carrie is honored to be a USD 409 Board Member and takes her role very seriously.  She speaks for the Atchison Community.
