Students at Atchison Public Schools continue to exhibit academic achievement and growth in all curricular areas. All schools and the district as a whole achieved Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP), as defined by the State of Kansas and in accordance with the No Child Left Behind Act.
On the State Reading Assessment, 86.6% of Atchison Public students scored proficient or higher and 89.5% scored proficient or higher on the State Math Assessment.
